An exceptional and wonderful evening last night at the Houses of Parliament, London, to mark ALVA's (Association of Leading Visitor Attractions) 25th Anniversary; drinks in the Speaker's apartments, a private tour and group photo inside the Commons chamber, dinner in the Members' Dining Room, speeches by Loyd Grossman and 'Top Chops' the famously bewhiskered Deputy Sergeant At Arms, all with a suffragette theme. We have just returned for Playa del Carmen Mexico, after attending Destination Britain Americas 2015 (DBA). VisitBritain's flagship international B2B workshop was taken to a whole new level, allowing top tour operators from North and South America to meet with the very best of British tourism product. DBA provided made and Encore the opportunity to meet with 150 international tourism buyers from 5 markets. 90 British product suppliers attended.
Tonight team made entertained some of our key partners and friends at Classic FM Live at the Royal Albert Hall. They joinded us for another evening of classical favourites from the world-famous Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of their Principal Conductor Vasily Petrenko.
This years Employee Benefits Live banished Monday morning blues as it opened at 9.30am today Monday 21 September and continues on tomorrow Tuesday 22 September at the National Hall Olympia in West London. Team made are helping Sergio Cicalò staff the Encore tickets stand.
On Friday and Saturday we exhibited at the GTOA (Group Travel Organisers Association) Showcase Weekend 2015 at the Newcastle Marriott hotel. The GTOA is an independent organisation representing the interests of those who organise tours and trips for groups as well as those who provide services for group travel. The Association has over 200 supplier members that provide GTOs with information on everything from tours, hotels and destinations to museums, galleries, gardens and attractions.

Great for Groups North has once again delivered for exhibitors and visitors alike. Held yesterday (Wednesday 2 September) at the Emirates Old Trafford, home of Lancashire County Cricket Club, the exhibition which was attended by almost 300 group buyers and 80 exhibitors including SEE Groups kept up the organisers track record of providing the ‘freshest event in the group travel market.’

The event provided a meeting place for travel professionals, and travel suppliers worldwide to connect and establish new business relationships. For the first time ever made teamed up with our National Tourism Office, VisitBritain to exhibit at the Trade Show.
