Theatre is GREAT shortlisted for Commercial Partnership of the Year

We are absolutely delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted in the PPA Independent Publisher Awards in the category of Commercial Partnership of the Year 2017 for our Theatre is GREAT magazine.

This is the ultimate accolade for publishers with a turnover of under £10 million, celebrating the dynamic contribution made to the print industry and the entrepreneurial spirit of the independent publisher. MVP (Morris Visitor Publications) in partnership with made and VisitBritain produced the first Theatre Is GREAT guide in May. This 42-page glossy magazine celebrated London’s West End successes, took a look at the regions and showcased stories from our wonderful industry.

Below, Jonathan Mountford from made and Rob Way from MVP launching the magazine in June at Players Bar & Kitchen. See the blog and photos from the launch here.

Sir Cameron Mackintosh introduced the publication, which also featured exclusive interviews with famous names, including Katherine Jenkins, Jane Asher and behind-the-scenes photography. We also talked to Nica Burns OBE, Jude Kelly CBE, Caro Newling, Vicky Featherstone and Vereen Irving (the long-standing Box Office Manager at Adelphi) amongst others.

Theatre Is GREAT was written for the visitor market and included ways to book tickets as a unique call-to-action.

Theatre is GREAT was distributed in all copies of the May edition of Where magazine, found in hundreds of top hotels across the capital. Additionally the publication was housed in specially-produced, branded display units in a selection of West End and regional theatre lobbies.

Thank you to all of our clients who helped make this publication possible.

The ceremony will be held in London on Tuesday 28 November.
